A typical Saturday night out with the Backwheels Bitches and all their lovely retro rides. Video captured by friendly neighbourhood photog Mat Canyon.
Mat Canyon brings us a glimpse of the KL’bound ‘Wangan’ runners and what they do for fun on a typical night.
In memory of those who lived riding the waves of the streets. RIP Paul Walker and Roger Rodas
100 cars, 8 groups, 30 km, 1 night

Many thanks to the crews, the drivers, the ones who cleared the roads for 100 over monsters to fly by (many sorries for disturbing the peace), and most of all to Mat Canyon for making this a reality!
Brightening up some faces with petrol guzzling monster machines? That was the objective of the latest UO Superdrive, held last week inconjuction with local supermarket chain UO Superstores’ 22nd anniversary. The charity drive lead a group of Skylines and Subarus from respective clubs to visit an orphanage way up in Janda Baik, Pahang.
The group started the day at Galaxy Ampang Shopping Mall which then headed to the orphanage ‘Badan Amal Nur Zaharah’, located at Janda Baik. The goal was to enable the children of the orphanage to hop on and experience rolling thunders and drive up to Cherengin Hills Convention and Spa Resort where they would be having lunch, fun and games. Here are some photos we managed to catch before we forgot about our cameras. Continue reading
The reto lovin’ bunch famously known as the ‘Backwheels Bitches’ recently held a meet and greet at the ever popular Genting Highlands. A drive up Bolehland’s favourite mountain road with many, many, many wildly different golden flavours of yesteryear was a great way to start the March of 2014. Looking forward to the next!

Paul Walker, famed from the Fast & Furious franchise was not just an actor who was made known to the car community by being in movie, but he was an all-round car nut just like the many of us who live and breath tarmac and petrol. His passing has reminded us that speed not only sparks fun, adrenalin and excitement, but it can also take away as easy as it is to reach 60 kph.
“If one day the speed kills me, do not cry because I was smiling” – Paul Walker. RIP
A global gathering held to commemorate Paul’s passing, we here in Malaysia join in to do what most car nuts love to do on a quiet weekend night; gather up and burn some petrol with the camaraderie of new and existing buddies. We gathered up at the welcome entrance of Sepang International Circuit and swapped stories and smiles. Continue reading
